The iBD Ownership OS connects Plan, Build and Elevate to time, cash flow and wealth.

Choose useful work from your actual position

Start with your ownership goals and the work that already exists. The phases explain how the capabilities connect; they are not a rule that every earlier milestone must be complete before you can improve something later.

Each milestone explains the work, tools, evidence and its own 0–3 scoring rule. Suitable existing work counts. You choose the saved score after reviewing the evidence. Keep unreviewed work unknown until you have looked at it.

Phase 1. Plan for the Future

Define what you want from time, cash flow and wealth. Understand value and ownership choices. Bring the direction into a Playbook you can use.

Module 1. Ownership Goals

Define your time, cash-flow and wealth goals in the Owner’s Scorecard.

Module 2. Expand Knowledge

Understand owner, market and transaction value and the choices they inform.

Module 3. Owner’s Playbook

Connect the written plan to monthly, quarterly and annual decisions.

Phase 2. Build a Valuable Business

Connect financial planning, revenue and operations to the company plan. Review what is happening and improve the capabilities that need attention.

Module 4. Sustainable Financials

Maintain reliable statements, a month-by-month budget and a supported five-year forecast.

Module 5. Predictable Revenue

Connect strategy, the customer path, acquisition economics and revenue forecasting.

Module 6. Transferable Margins

Connect delivery economics, operating measures and the business operating system.

Phase 3. Elevate from Operator to Owner

Clarify leadership responsibility, align compensation and prepare the role you want. A future handoff follows actual readiness and your chosen direction.

Module 7. Leadership Team

Agree who carries each function, plan five years of leadership needs and develop current people.

Module 8. Executive Compensation

Connect the company bonus pool, executive plan and any long-term participation to supported performance.

Module 9. Operator Transition

Use a role-transition plan, practice capital allocation and carry succession into use when appropriate.

Keep the work connected

Your Owner’s Playbook holds The Plan, The Numbers, Your Leadership Team and The Rhythm. Monthly reviews compare intentions with results. Quarterly work sets the next Game Plan. Annual planning refreshes your goals, direction and budget.

The goal is informed ownership and a business that supports your chosen life. Milestone completion does not guarantee a valuation, a buyer or a particular personal outcome.
